(NST) OSK Properties offering 120 affordable homes at MyRumah expo

SUNGAI PETANI: OSK Properties Sdn Bhd is offering 120 units of affordable homes with a starting price of RM45,000 in the three-day MyRumah 2018 property expo, held at the Amanjaya Mall, which began on Friday.

The company’s senior sales consultant, Muhammad Tarmizi Omar, said the company plans to build 500 units of four-storey flats in Bandar Puteri Jaya.

“This development is the result of the demand by the local residents, especially the younger generation, who want homes costing RM100,000 and below.

“For this exhibition, we are offering 120 homes for the first phase. As of now, 60 people have registered their interest in owning the property,” he said.

Muhammad Tarmizi said the homes, with a build-up of 650 sq ft, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

This marks OSK Properties’ second time participating in the MyRumah expo, having first taken part in MyRumah 2017 at Aman Central, Alor Setar. The company is also offering other properties such as single-storey and double-storey semi-detached homes, as well as bungalows from RM360,000 to RM848,000.

Meanwhile, UDA Land (North) Sdn Bhd is giving away rebates of between RM80,000 and RM100,000 for their semi-detached and bungalow homes in Bertam, Penang with prices from RM865,200 to RM2.2 million.

Its marketing executive, Noriza Mohd Hashim, said a rebate of 10 per cent plus four per cent is also offered to the first 100 buyers of their latest product, which are 300 35-floor condominium units in Permatang Pauh.

“The prices of the condominium units start at RM494,000, with a build-up of 1,100 sq ft, equivalent to RM389 per sq ft.

“We will also bear the legal fees as well as fees pertaining to loans and ownership exchange,” said Noriza.

The MyRumah expo, organised by the Malaysia’s largest newspaper publication group The New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd (NSTP), is running for three days, and is open from 10am to 10pm.
