(The Star) Home appliance brand‘s latest concept store opens in Puchong

Those living in Bandar Puteri Puchong or its nearby vicinity can now shop for Sharp products at the new Sharp concept store in HLK, Bandar Puteri Puchong.

Occupying a total floor space of 1,875 sq ft, the concept store offers a wide range of Sharp’s latest product line-up from LCD televisions, air-conditioners and air purifiers to washing machines, microwave ovens and other small kitchen appliances.

Sharp-Roxy Sales and Service Company (M) Sdn Bhd Consumer Electronic Products / Information System Products Sales general manager Tok Sang Man said the opening of the new store was to cater to the demand in the area.

“Bandar Puteri Puchong is popular for its variety of cafes and eateries.

“Not only that, it is also a popular residential area.

“For the convenience of our customers, we decided to open a store here so they can get home electronics and appliances without having to travel too far.

“Other than boosting our branding, we also want to cater to the needs of new developments nearby as they will need to purchase these necessities for their homes,” he said.

This is Sharp’s 22nd concept store in Malaysia and it is the company’s second store with HLK, with the first one located in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.

“When you shop at our concept store, we offer additional customer benefits such as an extra one year warranty, and an all-risk insurance which covers damage from flood, lightning and accident, and burglary, for LCD televisions.

“For our small appliances, we also offer one year warranty with one-to-one exchange for faulty products.

“We are coming up with additional benefits for our customers for our refrigerators and washing machines,” Tok added.

He also said that Sharp will be opening six more stores in Sarawak, Penang, Johor and Kuala Lumpur in line with Sharp’s business and brand expansion plan.

HLK (chain-store) Sdn Bhd executive director Daniel Leng Chee Wei said having Sharp on board will add more product selection for its customers.

“With a wide range of Sharp products on top of the other products we have to offer, customers will be spoilt for choice.

“This also gives them the convenience of sourcing for what they need all under one roof.

“This strategic partnership will bring in more sales to us and Sharp,” he said.

To mark the opening of the store, Sharp held a grand opening sale with attractive promotions and gave away 400 units of door gifts.

With Hari Raya just around the corner, the store will also be offering discounts and free gifts.

HLK currently has 19 stores nationwide.
